Freelancer Liability & Insurance
All freelancers engaged by Spectrum Education are expected to hold their own public liability and/or professional indemnity insurance unless expressly stated otherwise in their engagement contract.
Spectrum will not be liable for any incidents, claims, or damages resulting from the services delivered by freelance professionals. It is the responsibility of each freelancer to ensure they are fully insured when working with clients, schools, or businesses through Spectrum’s network.
In cases where Spectrum requires specific cover (e.g., working in schools or with vulnerable individuals), this will be communicated in advance. All freelance staff must also have a valid enhanced DBS check if delivering services to young people (Spectrum can help to facilitate this).
